Affiliate Disclosure

Naturally Well Today is reader supported. Some links in articles are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you buy something after following one. What you pay is the same either way.

Where you will see it said

Any article containing affiliate links carries a short disclosure at the very top, above the first paragraph, in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements and testimonials. It is not folded into a footer or hidden behind a link.

What a commission cannot buy

It cannot buy a health claim. This matters more here than on most sites, because the subject matter attracts products sold on the promise that a plant will fix something. I will not write that a product treats, cures or prevents anything, at any price, for any commission. If a brand’s own copy says it does, the article says the copy says it, and then says why that is not the same as it being true.

It does not buy warmth either. A good number of articles here end by concluding that the thing you already own is fine, or that the honest answer is to buy nothing, and those earn precisely nothing. That is the correct outcome. A site whose every article concludes buy this is not a site, it is a catalogue.

Most of this is not buyable anyway

A great deal of what gets written about here is a handful of dried mint, a jar somebody gave me, or a plant grown from a cutting, and there is no affiliate link on earth for a bunch of lavender out of a garden. Where an article is about something unbuyable it simply carries no commercial link, and I would rather publish it that way than pad it with a substitute product.

Gifted items

If something arrived at no cost, the article that mentions it says so in the first few lines. Accepting a thing is not a promise of coverage or of a kind verdict, and nobody outside this house reads a draft before it goes up.

Prices

Where a rough price or a range appears, it was right when written and will drift. Check the retailer before you decide anything on the strength of a number here.
